  bought a plush pillow top mattress california king from Hamptons furniture in The Dalles, Oregon, and when I took the plastic off of it, it smelled real strong like mildew. I have talked to the woman that sold it to me numerous times and she keeps telling me that is the new smell. It isn't as strong but I can still smell it. I paid $1800.00 for it and I am beyond unhappy about. It says it was manufactured 04/06/15. We bought it on 3/28/15. What is going on with this? Am I going to be stuck with a stinky mattress forever?
